Winged Hourglass Cane Topper - Tempus Fugit

Tempus Fugit - Time Flees Away  I needed a winged hourglass cane finial that matched my plague doctor kit, inspired by the 1656 "Doctor Schnabel" engraving by Paul Furst. Finding nothing online, I decided to design one myself using OpenSCAD. My cane top is built to fit on a rod roughly 7/8" in diameter, with a 1/4" threaded rod for secure attachment. The designed-in hole is not threaded and may need slight drilling out to fit snugly, but I'm gluing it anyway for extra security. The model prints well upside-down, yet requires support for the overhanging parts of the hourglass and wings as well as for the small wing and column pieces until they connect to the main body. I printed with numerous perimeters and a relatively high infill since this is a cane top that may face some rough handling.
