UPDATE: 07/02/2017 - New files were uploaded to replace the old ones, which had been scaled incorrectly. Check out a photo of the new piece (the gray one) in action – it fits perfectly! A spare motor cowl was printed as a backup for the standard foam cowl. The motor support and STD canopy have also been fitted. Originally, the foam part weighed 1.3 grams, but with my printer settings, my piece comes out at 3.9 grams. Work is still underway to complete the motor support and cowl – they're on their way. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 7% Notes: UPDATE: 07/02/2017 - I printed the part with my Prusa i3 in ABS, using a resolution of 0.2mm, an infill of 7%, and wall thickness of 0.4mm. My nozzle is set to 0.4, so with a shell thickness of 0.7, it should take two perimeters. The top and bottom are each 0.5mm thick. The part was printed in ABS yellow. Post-Printing: Clean up the print with acetone steam. Give it a good clean from the brim and any wax residue using acetone for a smoother finish.
