These wingtip nav light indicators serve as visual references at night, confirming your nav lights are functioning properly and identifying your wingtips. To install them, simply remove the Grimes nav light assembly using a Phillips screwdriver, no wiring disconnection required. The design allows wiring to pass through an opening, making installation on high-or-low-wing aircraft seamless. Compatible with both Grimes and Whelen nav light assemblies, these indicators fit most general aviation and experimental aircraft. Two files are provided for different manufacturing methods: one for 3D printing features a small opening along the outer edge, allowing wiring to pass through, while the other is designed for CNC routing, without an opening. If fabricating on a CNC router, cutting a thin blade saw opening helps minimize its size and maintain optimal functionality.
