Wing Section
thingiverse
I'm creating a completely 3D printed 60" RC tow plane, purely for entertainment. This is the initial part of the project, which will require six wing sections, a central attachment section, and two wing tips to complete the wing. The carbon fiber will be used for the leading and trailing edges, while the large in-printed tube will provide support for the upper and lower skins. I'll also print some joiners before assembly. To contribute to this aircraft's design, you're more than welcome to suggest any modifications or ideas. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Rafts: No rafts will be used. Supports: No supports will be provided. Resolution: The resolution is set at .3mm. Notes: I opted for hollow sections with ends for gluing purposes. Two perimeters, four top and bottom layers will be printed.
