Wing Nut drill attachment
thingiverse
When Hurricane Matthew seemed destined to strike South Florida, I swiftly installed my hurricane shutters, necessitating the tightening of numerous wingnuts. This task proved quite laborious when done by hand, so as the time arrived to remove them, I visited multiple hardware stores in search of an attachment that would enable me to detach the wingnuts using my cordless drill. Unfortunately, none were available, prompting me to devise a solution and it functions exceptionally well. Constructed from ASA plastic, engineered for outdoor use, this material was chosen without any specific reason in mind; it simply happened to be on hand at the time of creation. Additionally, I opted to print with 100% infill. https://youtu.be/KA2fBcaWAg8 This project was designed using Tinkercad. Feel free to edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/eB7uNUugtuU
