Wing fan attachment for E3D V6
thingiverse
The design has undergone a significant update, thanks to feedback from users about the lack of air vents on the back for airflow. I've redesigned the back to include a hole that allows air to pass through, a key element in reducing warping when printing. Research suggests that blowing air over a wide area delivers prints with less warping than shrouds that concentrate the air. This concept is similar to the "wing fan system" seen on another printer using an E3D V6 hotend. Although I haven't fully tested this design, preliminary results indicate it performs exceptionally well so far. The system utilizes three 40mm fans attached to a magnetic X-carriage, which was designed by me and can be mounted on any printer with an E3D V6 hotend, including the Tevo Tarantula.
