Please Note: All downloads, 3D printing, and use are at your own risk. I have designed screw hole plugs for the wing box cover on the Freewing F-14 Tomcat 80mm EDF Jet. These plugs are placed inside the foam holes after screwing on the wing box cover to conceal the screw holes for better visual presentation. The straight plug design is intended to be used for the two front and two rear wing box cover screw holes. The angled plug design is intended to be used for the two middle wing box cover screw holes. The angled plugs require finding the proper rotation until it sits as flush as possible to the foam wing box cover. The plugs may press fit into the holes and remain secure without glue. However, since foam can have imperfections, variations, can be dented, etc., there is always the chance that the plugs may be too loose and may require a very small dab of glue to secure. Please keep in mind that these are meant to be relatively easily removable when you want them out, so if you decide to glue them just be aware that this may make removal more difficult and the glue can damage the foam. Please test fit and ensure proper and safe security of the plugs. As always, any time modification is made to an aircraft like weight being added, removed, or redistributed please check that your aircraft CG is within the proper recommended range before flying.
