Wine Press
thingiverse
A barrel press with a massive capacity of more than 11 litres can be crafted. Customizable openSCAD files allow you to experiment with various sizes of planks, from a handful of different thicknesses or the total number of planks you wish to employ, while the wooden construction also means it can function well as a 3d printing project due to its numerous components that involve woodwork. To operate this grape wine press successfully in your vineyard, you need a crucial component - a substantial 12mm threaded rod located at the very heart of the system, secured by top and bottom locknuts. Additionally, there is an internally fixed nut on the paddle at the top end for extra stability. You rotate this major bar that's connected to the rod clockwise in order to pull down upon the upper wooden panel tightly squishing those luscious grapes. As a result of these squished fruit particles settling beneath its bottom edge the flat metal sheet holding them will automatically shift upward by some force which eventually breaks apart as you carefully remove the central pole at its very bottom and, therefore take it out easily. Using these easy-to-understand steps makes operation really intuitive, though keep in mind the original materials list for the wine press are shown below: Barrel:
