Wine Hand

Wine Hand

thingiverse

This is a handmade wine holder, printed with witbox at 200 microns. It needs supports on the outer face of the hand. I based my idea on this model https://www.myminifactory.com/object/some-wine-682. I used a human hand from MakeHuman, added subdivision in Blender, and edited it to fit a standard 750ml wine bottle and base. In the first version, the bottle was unstable on the middle finger, so I rigged the fingers and had three of them hold the bottle (last photo). A little glue might be needed to keep the hand on the base. UPDATE 12/09/2015: I uploaded another version of the base that's shorter (15.4 cm). Chrisdug asked for it, and I quickly proportional edited the front part to make it shorter. I should have done it from scratch, but I didn't have time for that. The shorter base hasn't been tested yet, but I'm sure it will work like the other one (as long as I didn't edit the part that attaches to the hand). Feel free to make any modifications you need.
