Wine Glass XT
prusaprinters
<p>This work builds on my previous model <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/148398-stackable-shooter">Stackable shooter</a>. To successfully complete the wine glass, I used everything I learned on a simple shooter and I had to tune a lot of other things. The hardest part was adjusting the parameters of the narrow stem of the glass. With the parameters that worked on the shooter, it did not turn out well.</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:59.12%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/151078/rich_content/200206e9-2655-4f8d-9f7f-3a5220b81b47/stem-overheat.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%224cc55a83-10d0-4aa4-a46e-3b44c85e0fd5%22%2C%22w%22%3A1840%2C%22h%22%3A1310%7D"></figure><p>To achieve a good printout, it was necessary to radically reduce the speed below 20 mm/s, reduce the nozzle temperature to at least 250 ° C and intensify cooling. The included gcode does not need to be tuned during printing.</p><figure class="image image_resized" style="width:56.34%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/151078/rich_content/cbb84413-34b3-440a-ab16-e049ba752883/good-stem.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22cc038b6b-48f6-472f-8716-94aa03f11a6f%22%2C%22w%22%3A2241%2C%22h%22%3A2535%7D"></figure><p>Again, I used a 0.8 mm nozzle. Only 0.3 mm proved to be the correct layer height. With this design and layer height, the spiral mode starts at layer 210.</p>
