Wine bottle screw top
thingiverse
This top fits most current screw-top wine bottles. It's designed to have an O-ring inserted, providing a tight seal. I used O-rings with a 3/4 inch inside diameter and 1/8 inch thickness, along with a 1 inch outside diameter. The thickness and outside diameter aren't crucial, but the 3/4 inch (19.05mm) inside diameter creates a snug fit on the center of the bottle. Note: I've replaced the original file with an updated version that fits better; the center spigot of the original was too large for some bottles. There are two versions available - the "Gsr" version has smoother, rounded edges on top but may not print well without a raft. Print Settings: Printer: Weistek/RS Components WT-280A Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: I used a modified build plate for the printer (1.2mm aluminum sheet with Screwfix Frogtape) instead of the perforated sheet that came with the printer. This works well for this item without a raft, saving a lot of time on cleanup afterwards. Post-Printing: Insert an O-ring for a tight seal (see the main description). Custom Section: Designed with Sketchup 2016
