Discover the secrets inside those peculiar walking feet! Visit http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13915 for instructions. Easy disassembly involves inserting a thin tool under each tab to release it without breaking, followed by removing the bottom plate and legs. Note the red discs as eccentrically mounted cams converting rotary motion into linear motion. The legs' slots allow guides atop the body to ride. Further disassembly may be difficult due to plastic welding. With a fully wound clockwork, it runs about 20 seconds without load and 18 seconds with load. Now that you have an operational clockwork mechanism, imagine its possibilities! (This text is from README.txt for thingiverse publication.)
