I am truly honored and humbled yet again by Thingiverse's feature of Windup Bunny. Many thanks to Thingiverse for this wonderful recognition! And I extend my gratitude to all of you who created, liked, commented on, critiqued, or added Windup Bunny to your collections! My 100th published design on Thingiverse is Windup Bunny, a new version of the PLA Spring Motor Demonstrator (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:402412) and the PLA Spring Motor, Rolling Chassis (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:430050), in an open frame design that showcases its inner workings. As Easter approached, I 3D printed a few Windup Bunnies for my wife, who can't enjoy chocolate bunnies due to dietary restrictions, and of course for the kids and grandkids. This little vehicle features all-wheel drive, which prevents wheelies or back flips, allowing it to travel about 15 feet on a smooth surface after lubrication and break-in. Here's a video showcasing my Windup Bunny prototype: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8FdtqQLwls (I apologize for the unprofessional desktop video; I was solo at the time). If you prefer a solid body design, like Saber http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1212665, I've included optional side panels "Body Left, Solid.stl" and "Body Right, Solid.stl". I hope Loubie will create 3D printed side panels! Feel free to print Windup Bunny in your favorite colors, and don't forget to have a Happy Easter! I designed Windup Bunny using Sketchup Make 2015 and printed it on an Ultimaker 2 Extended with PLA filament, following Cura settings as described in the Print Settings.
