Wind Turbine Hand Sculpture. #CatchTheWind I initially tried it, but had to refine it with a drill. So here's version 2.0 - just two components. The STL file should be scaled down to 45% for optimal printing on a Makerbot. Download the two files labeled "2.0" and follow along. UPDATE: Latest design is printed and performs flawlessly. I only enlarged the bottom plate for enhanced stability. A timelapse will be posted soon! UPDATE 2: I added a wind direction hand that indicates the wind's direction. UPDATE 3: Check out the wind direction hand pictures - it looks fantastic! UPDATE 4: I've updated the Hands to work better in windy conditions, as they're now more rounded. The previous ones were too flat.
