Windshield Washer Nozzle Shim
thingiverse
Ordered a cheap windshield washer kit for my Honda Talon side by side. Installed the nozzles in the hood but they were squirting too low due to the angle of the hood surface. This shim fixed the issue! My shim is 15 degrees, but I've included the link to the parametric model created in OnShape below so you can adjust to your application on a car/truck/side-by-side/whatever. It's just a single parameter change on a plane angle, very easy to customize. At 15 degrees I still have just enough clearance to secure the nozzle to the hood with the included nut. Any steeper angle would probably require epoxy or hot melt glue due to the threaded length of the nozzle being completely inside the shim. Each shim prints in just 10 minutes. Make sure to print sequentially rather than all at once if printing multiple shims on the bed.
