Windshield Fastener for Antenna Coax
thingiverse
I have a custom-made antenna mount that attaches directly to my Wouxun KG-UV5D radio. The four clips secure the coaxial cable on the right-hand side of the windshield, keeping it out of reach for passengers. I upgraded to version 2 of the design, which eliminates the need for glue - simply push it in diagonally and it snaps into place. I printed this part using my Flashforge Creator Dual printer with the following settings: no rafts, no supports, and a resolution of 0.1mm. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing at a slow speed, 20/40, with two shells. The print time was approximately 45 minutes, utilizing ABS plastic, and consumed 0.6 meters of filament. After printing, the coaxial cable's diameter is 6 mm. To assemble the clip, simply slide it into position, ensuring a snug fit. If the clips look secure, attach them to the coaxial cable. Apply a small amount of glue to the flat side near the tip and slide it in place. Three or four clips should adequately secure the coaxial cable.
