I was captivated by the concept of Thodio's A-Box, yet I wasn't willing to shell out $450-$850 for the features I required. My pursuit of creating my own Ammo Can Speaker started immediately. Although I invested approximately $240 in the finished product (and a bit on misguided ideas), I still managed to come in well under the cost of a comparable A-Box.
