Windows Thingiverse Thing Downloader

I recently started working on a Windows-based Thingiverse Downloader that runs on .NET 3.5 Framework and integrates with Internet Explorer via a right-click menu item. Unlike Feilen's version, mine communicates with the downloader app through a socket connection, requiring it to run in the background during downloads. The app starts automatically upon Windows startup and minimizes to the system tray for convenience. The downloader creates a folder for each thing being downloaded, using the title as the folder name. It also generates a shortcut to the thing's page within that folder. At present, it only has one download thread, handling one file at a time. Future updates will include multiple concurrent download threads and real-time progress tracking in the listview box. Additional features are being considered, such as a downloaded/completed tab for organizing items and functionality to re-download selected files or browse back to the source page. Currently, the downloader does not support proxy servers requiring user credentials. The next version will address this issue. To use the software, install the setup, restart Windows, configure settings within ThingGeT from the system tray, and access Thingiverse Thing pages in Internet Explorer to initiate downloads via a right-click menu. A dialog box allows users to customize the saved title and select specific files for download before beginning the process. Download progress can be viewed through ThingGeT's system tray interface.
