Windows Mixed Reality Grip
thingiverse
I designed a Windows Mixed Reality grip that securely grips the controller for the Acer WMR AH101. It should work with other Windows controllers, such as the HP variant. The wrist strap used to catch on my partner's watches and bracelets when playing BeatSaber. I hated it while trying to win, and I wasn't a fan of something dangling off my wrist at all times either. This version eliminates the need for a wrist strap, using a ring-finger elastic band that keeps everything safe yet useful. It also securely holds the battery cover in place so it doesn't slip off often, and provides a better grip to hold onto the controller. To make this grip, simply print two and attach a wide piece of elastic material into the slot. Sew it up securely according to your fit, but don't make it too small or you may strangle a finger or two. Some people might need to print at 98% or 99% because their controllers were not a snug fit. However, I leave part of the elastic loop dangling inside the print as I slide the controller in, and it catches and fits snugly against the elastic. This way, you can adjust the fit of the elastic if it's too loose or too tight.
