This is a manual Windows key lock I designed for my Glorious GMMK. I designed this because most of the key cap locks you can buy require you to remove the keycap to install or remove them; and I wanted something that be installed or removed without doing that.

While I designed it for disabling the Windows key specifically, it will fit any of the bottom row keys that have a width over 20mm. (Windows key, Ctrl, Alt, FN, etc.) This was designed to fit the Glorious GMMK, but should fit any mechanical keyboard that has a clearance of 6mm between the base plate and the bottom of the keycap. The design is fairly simple, so it could probably be made to fit other keyboards with different clearances by adjusting the Z scale in PrusaSlicer.

To install the lock, catch the bottom of keycap in the slot on the top of the lock, and rotate the lock down flat against the baseplate. To remove, just lift up on the tab to pop it back off.

This was printed in Prusament Prusa Orange PETG, using the 0.20mm SPEED print setting, with no supports, on my MK3S. This is a very short print (~12 minutes), and uses less than 2g of filament at 20% infill.

Designed by me, using Tinkercad.

I have included pre-sliced .gcode for both the MK3S and Mini.
