The exhaust allows a pipe out to a window directly. A standard 30 cfm fan did not cut it however. I replaced it with an efficient 62db, high capacity 100cfm, compact 80mm fan I bought on eBay from the website http://www.ebay.com/itm/130654982712. The specific model of the new fan is FFB0812UHE. Unfortunately though, it requires a power supply of 12V and 2A. This setup made the ABS plastic smell apparent. But luckily this problem stopped immediately. I'm glad my health isn't suffering from ABS fumes anymore which was really negatively affecting me.\ To provide extra support at the top of the exhaust outlet I applied some insulation sheeting material to cover up the space between it and the window. Installing a second fan near the window may be worthwhile too. Another great advantage will come with disconnecting the hose and reversing the fan's direction so that we get fresh air into our house instead.
