Window Track Locks for Home Windows

Window Track Locks for Home Windows

I design track locks for my house windows that can fold into the house for easy cleaning. The problem with them is they are fragile and break quickly. Replacing them isn't simple; I need a window installer to come over or purchase directly from the manufacturer. However, since neither of those options works, one of my very first DIY projects with my Da Vinci 2.0 Duo 3D printer was designing replacement Track Locks.\n\nInstructions are included on how to make the parts using the STL download that includes a left and right Track Lock piece for fold-out windows like mine. These track locks can be customized by downloading, editing and re-exporting STL so they fit each specific window type perfectly. The two-part locking mechanism is assembled easily by slipping the thinner piece that appears as having flat legs into the larger piece. Then simply slide it all in place.
