Window Tilt Latch

Window Tilt Latch

This latch is designed for installation where the center-to-center mounting hole distance measures approximately 2 and 9/16ths of an inch. To function properly, it requires the spring from the original tilt latch for actuation. However, numerous other springs can be used to achieve the same outcome. Due to its placement in direct sunlight, I anticipate that PLA may not be the ideal material choice. Nevertheless, that's the only white filament available at the moment, so we'll see how it holds up before planning a replacement with a PETG print in the near future. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask for clarification. It's worth noting that the model for the housing is side-agnostic. In contrast, the actual latching mechanism needs to be mirrored on one side, which was the intention behind its design. This process can be easily accomplished in Cura by right-clicking on the desired model and selecting the mirror option. If anyone finds this operation too complicated with their slicer, simply comment below, and I'll prioritize uploading a mirrored version as soon as possible. Alternatively, it will be available within a few weeks. Update 7/14/2019: A mirrored internal model has been added (Internal v3).
