Window Sill Plant Propagator

Window Sill Plant Propagator Designed this propagator because most of the ones that use test tubes are exposed to light. While it looks pretty it's not really good for the roots. Blocking from light also helps roots pop faster. The sleeves allow you to block the light and you can still pull the tubes out to see the roots. If you don't care about all that.. I added slots for future LED mounts to light up tubes printed in translucent or gitd filament. I will post the mounts as soon as I can get to them. These could make a great gift for any plant lover.. or a unique stand to hold pencils, pens for those that aren't. :) I found these are great for cloning a lot of different types of plants. If I find a vine or broken flower stem and want to save, I'll throw them into the propagator until I see roots and replant. You should see roots in a week or two on most with just using tap water. You can just replace water every couple days to keep things fresh. To water, I just put it under the sink sprayer and shake off excess water over the sink. Viney plants are the easiest. I've left my Pothos vines in them for over a year so far.. algae builds up if exposed to the light but doesn't seem to affect them. NOTES: Utilizes 30mm diameter tubes but I've included a tube adapter cap that allows use of standard 25mm tubes. I find that 30mm gives more room for roots / water / bubbler? but 25mm works. The holes on the deck are for small bamboo skewers. In case you need supports or make a small trellis or use twine to hang them. There are few different versions. The main difference is the number of tube slots and if storage slots are included. Designed to fit on a standard window sill. I usually fill up with the sprayer on the kitchen sink at low pressure or put them under the sink nozzle or you can pull the tubes from the sleeves. real easy print. I also didn't need any supports Hope this one see's some makes.. my other models don't seem to get much action which makes me sad. :( If it see's some makes, I'll post some other plant related things I'm working on.
