Window Screen Retainer Clip
thingiverse
I replaced a missing screen in my house and it slipped neatly back into place. It turns out that the old screens had a clever spring mechanism built into them to hold them securely in position. A small groove runs along the entire inside edge of the window frame, so I created a simple retainer clip to keep the new screen firmly in place, with a notch on one side for easy removal if needed later. Yes, my windows definitely need some cleaning attention right now, just leave me alone to focus on this project. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Dual Extruder Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.20 or whatever setting you prefer Infill: 20% Notes: Print settings aren't too critical here, as each screen will only hold back a tiny amount of weight even in strong winds. However, they're still made of plastic, so don't rely on them to keep anything secure. If your pet or child accidentally pulls out the screen and jumps through the window, I'm not responsible for any damage or injuries that may result. Come to think of it, if they swallow one of these screens, I'm also not liable. Please refrain from ingesting any of these parts.
