Window Screen Fastener
thingiverse
I live in a place where the window screen fasteners consistently succumb to sun damage. They're made of plastic and break easily, so I decided to create new ones that would last longer. Designing these replacements was a straightforward process, but it's one that I found very appealing. To match my existing window treatments, I chose to print them using black ABS plastic. Next, I used Slic3r to generate a G-code file that could be read by my printer. Finally, I printed them using Pronterface.
