Window rooftop for Playmobil castle 3268
thingiverse
I replace the broken windows of my old Playmobil castle model 3268, which was made back in 2004, by creating new parts using 3D printing.\nThey print very well on both horizontal and vertical axes at a thickness of 0.3 millimeters.\nThe part I created is supported in multiple areas as it was fragile and could have snapped easily when separated from the raft that holds it during the printing process.\nYou can get STL files to match your needs - either for side or up and down printings are both provided, giving you more freedom.\nBy the way, this was done before my modifications of January 1st, 2016.\nUpdate: On New Year's Day I replaced the same broken part, printing it now with even smaller layer height, just 0.2 millimeters, adding additional support where needed and producing a result which surpasses my expectations by a wide margin as evident from second picture that I am including along.
