I have windows that tilt inward for cleaning, and they use these fragile metal pins. They tend to break easily, so I got tired of calling the window guy in to replace them, which is why I decided to model and try a new solution. The results are promising, as they work just fine - at least so far. I chose PETG because it's strong and has a slight flexibility to it.
