To attach it to my casement windows, I had to create an insert from Forex Classic PVC. Some people recommend using Plexiglas instead. This setup helps block the area and prevents air from escaping or entering the room. I mounted it on a 10mm Forex Classic PVC sheet. In terms of light transmission, Plexiglas might be better. There are two versions: one with a lip for inserts up to 10mm thickness, requiring no glue or extra fixations; and another without a lip, suitable for thicker inserts, which may need some extra fixation. The lid can also be used to detach the air conditioner and cover the hole if needed.
