Window Motor

You will need parts to make a Bedini coil motor, also known as an SSG. A large print, about 10 inches square or larger, is necessary. Some items might require rotation before printing. For bigger prints, use Kapton tape with ABS juice to prevent sharp edges from warping off the print bed. If you're printing the thin rotor, wait until it cools down completely before removing it from the print bed to stop it from warping. The rotor holes or spacer holes may need some filing to fit properly on a shaft, but make sure it's a snug fit. Using a coil holder and regular Bedini SSG coils works great for balancing the rotor before adding window coils. I was able to get my setup up to 1,200 rpm with just one SSG coil. Make sure your magnets are in an NSNS order if you're planning on using window coils.
