We're replacing the broken lock on our kitchen window by fashioning a makeshift solution. Crafted in-house, this little contraption snaps neatly into place along the frame's edge with a satisfying click, only requiring some careful adjustments. In typical form, we turn to sandpaper - a reliable companion that helps shape and fine-tune any makeshift solution :)
