I've created some custom clips to hang our fake boards over the windows for Halloween decorations. The white boards are made of 1x2 pine, while the gray weathered boards are crafted from durable blue foam. Nylon straps secure the bottom and tighten around the window frame to prevent them from being blown away by the wind. If you need to resize these clips, I've included a Fusion 360 archive for your convenience.
