Window Candle Strap

The 20th century witnessed the creation of innovative devices that significantly impacted our daily lives. One such remarkable invention is the plastic straps designed to keep Christmas candles securely in place on window ledges. If you're struggling to find the perfect solution for this upcoming holiday season, I've got a simple model that can be replicated with minimal effort. For instance, I created mine using PCTPE nylon for added flexibility, and it turned out remarkably well. Other flexible filaments like PETG might also work effectively. However, if you're considering using ABS or PLA, be cautious as they may produce slightly stiffer results - please let me know if anyone has successfully utilized these materials in their projects. To enhance the design's overall performance, I modified it to include a larger hole that extends upward and prints concurrently with the "pip" at the base. This subtle tweak allows for better airflow and adds extra stability to the plastic strap, making it an even more reliable solution for keeping Christmas candles securely attached.
