Window Bracket inserts
thingiverse
I designed these mounts to convert an air conditioner panel intended for a vertical opening window into a horizontal opening window setup, as seen in the attached pictures. One piece is tailored to fit snugly over the movable part (the U-shaped frame), while the other is meant to accommodate the static frame (the open box shape). Both components feature a flange with pre-drilled holes for easy screw installation. I recommend printing these mounts upright, as I found them stable enough without support. If your prints turn out too long, simply trim them shorter – just be sure to use a hand saw and take your time; using a power saw or hasty cuts can cause the plastic to overheat and re-melt on the opposite side of the cut. The screw holes are generously sized for #10 screws, but you may find that other sizes fit as well.
