Windmobile - Print & Fold
cults3d
So here's an idea that doesn't quite hit the mark, lacking some real spin. Maybe it'll still hold some value for someone. First, print flat and then carefully fold along the cuts into a curved, wind-catching shape. Hang outside on a thread and let your worries drift away. https://youtu.be/G2sipuiohBE Important details to keep in mind: * Print with 0.2mm layers since the fold cuts leave behind a 0.4mm residue. * Fold towards the cut lines, not away from them (or you'll end up with broken pieces). * For better spinning results, tie a weight to the bottom hole. * Reflective or translucent plastic would look best, but I'm fresh out of those options right now. * Ideally, hang it with a fishing swivel so the suspension string doesn't get all tangled up. I strongly recommend printing the small test version first to make sure your printer is dialed in and the folds work for you before moving on to a larger version.
