Windmill Tile Patterns (Roller & Stamp)
thingiverse
This roller aims to create the tile pattern shown in the image on XPS foam or similar materials, using 2mm edges to cut a groove. The roll itself is just over 6 inches long. The tile pattern is provided as a reference of what the roller should create. Updated 25/10/18: Renamed the device to the real-world name of the tile pattern, Windmill. Additional files have been added: 1. The XY Distorted file contains the original distortion listed above. This pattern repeats every 1 inch (about 25mm) in one direction and 1 1/8 inches (about 29mm) in the other direction. 2. The Roller file should provide the pattern on a 1-inch grid, though it remains untested at present. 3. The Stamp file is also untested, but it should deliver a 1-inch stamp to cut into the XPS foam.
