I stumbled upon an image of this Windmill Submarine on the cover of the May 1964 Popular Mechanics and thought it would be an exciting project to undertake. The hull is modeled after the USS Skipjack, making the scale approximately 1/308. I attempted to discover what happened to the test of the design but was unable to find any information, perhaps some RC enthusiast might create a working model in their spare time. I'm aware that I would definitely build one if I had the opportunity to do so.
