Windmill in-place Rotor
myminifactory
It was an attempt at building a precision windmill for tabletop. Not perfect, but looks good as a tabletop toy or for dioramas. Has three blades with adjustable blade angle. Needs 2.5mm screws and 9mm dowel to complete. The idea was to have the rotor and casing be built in one integrated unit. However, the tolerance is too tight, and the blades don't spin freely (it does move if you push with your fingers though). Maybe use of oil in the rotor may help. Or scaling it up by just a tiny amount (~1% or 2% increase in overall size). I printed at 0.4mm + 0.2mm layer depth. Will improve upon the design when I get time. All design was done on FreeCAD. If someone wants to try tinkering with the design, do let me know and I can share the FreeCAD files.
