A versatile UNWINDER REEL for kite lines allows effortless unwinding and winding up with ease. The PRIMARY PRODUCT boasts a sturdy construction made predominantly from plastic components. Rubber end caps are strategically positioned to provide optimal grip and durability. Through the use of "Injection Moulding" manufacturing techniques, a high-quality finish is achieved. I have reimagined this product with metallic components, suitable for machining production methods. Both rubber end caps remain unchanged, mirroring the original design. Recommended materials include aluminum or titanium for the metal components, paired with brass and rubber for the respective parts. Four fastening screws feature a threaded M5 design with a thread length of 10 mm, ensuring secure attachment. This convenient device can be used in conjunction with my box kite: Box Kite Design. The model is available in various formats, including STEP-file (.stp) for the complete assembly and native files (.prt) and (.asm), packaged within a (.7z)-folder compatible with "PTC Creo Parametric 2.0".
