Wind turbine, vertical blinds, hoverboard, 9 blade, long arm
thingiverse
I'm building a DIY wind turbine using 608 bearings, vertical blinds for wings, a hoverboard motor, and a dollar tree broom stick as the spine. Some small hardware is needed to assemble it all. This project is designed to fit on a build plate that's 200x200mm in size. I may have missed some details or files for extra parts - feel free to ask with any questions you might have. So far, this thing spins great without the generator, but getting the hoverboard motor to move takes a good amount of wind. I didn't get much chance to test it out when I made it, but I'm hoping to upload a video to YouTube and share the link once I've got it working smoothly. During prototyping, I printed many parts with a 1mm nozzle.
