Wind Turbine, Uses Nema 17 motor with these gears http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:699732 and blades from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:911735 Big thanks to both designers. I'm still printing but will report back on how well it works - likely not very well at all. Custom Section Parts needed... Will require some M8 rod and nuts, skateboard bearings for the tube, a Nema 17 (watch out for height differences) and some M3 bolts to attach the motor. The cover should slide over smoothly (untested so far) then attach two rectifying diode circuits to the coil output and regulate it down to 12V hopefully that will work. I'll post more pictures and maybe a video as the build progresses. Thanks for taking a look.
