Wind Turbine Design Challenge Project
thingiverse
Modify the Solidworks file's Equations to optimize your wind turbine design. Adjust blade-angle, thickness, width at four profiles, profile positions, blade length, and number of blades for each 9th grade Physics class group's 3D-printed simulation. The winning team will generate the highest voltage using a DC motor and an Arduino/RaspberryPi setup with moving average data reading. A capacitor is optional, and a steady reading can be achieved by implementing a moving average of A0 data on the RaspberryPi, which displays results on a TFT screen. The turbine design should fit a $5 Radioshack 18V DC motor and tower.
