A Horizontal Axis variable-speed wind turbine features two distinct blade sets, each designed for varying wind speeds. The first set operates at low speeds, with the second set functioning efficiently in both high and low winds. These blade sets are connected to a shared concentric shaft via a sprocket mechanism. This innovative design was inspired by Honeywell Wind Turbines from Windtronics.
