Wind Turbine 6kW

With a team of seven, I designed an onshore wind turbine with a capacity of 6kW that utilizes a horizontal axis. As the design engineer, my responsibilities included creating the concept design, performing stress calculations, and ensuring the product met customer technical specifications and requirements. Additionally, I produced a 3D-CAD model using SolidWorks. Throughout the project, we managed conflict situations while working with team members of diverse cultural backgrounds. Key components of the turbine included blades, synchronous generators (MJB 160 SB4), axial and radial load roller bearings from SKF, and a slewing bearing also sourced from SKF.
