We upgraded our back door with double glazing which demanded a thicker external frame - the issue was, it couldn't swing far enough anymore to catch the wind hook. That's when I created this straightforward Wind Hook Extender 3D print solution! Maybe you can adapt it for your door too, just feel free to make any modifications if needed! **Instructions** Print this item naturally with a solid infill setting to ensure strength - I opted to use (inno)PET due to the higher durability compared to PLA which seemed a bit prone to breaking under strong winds. The model can be printed at any layer height, and there's no need for an underlying raft or support.
