We developed an experimental setup for the topic of wind energy. This setup allows us to test various profiles for their suitability. We can adjust parameters such as distance, wind direction, profile form, and profile deployment. In our experiments, we used a Honeywell HT-900E wind generator and a Johnson 12 V 008 03 23311 DC motor as the generator. We slightly deburred the motor shaft. Our best profile so far generates an optimal voltage of about 5 volts at approximately 30 revolutions per second. The setup is already being used in physics class for eighth-graders (topic: electronics/energy). We would be thrilled if you could create even better profiles and share them with us. In addition to the wind generator and motor, you will need an M4 screw and a steel spring clip.
