Various 'buffer' implementations exist for this purpose, however they occupy much space, and make loading / unloading filament more difficult.The AMS implementation is much neater, rewinding the filament automatically back onto the spool.This box design allows the spool to be neatly stored, with no need for 'buffers' when used in filament swappers.The rewind mechanism inside the box is based on this original design by 'Mr Goodman' LINK TO ORIGINAL WINCHRACK.
