Winchester Revolver Prop

If you want to see what's next, follow me on Instagram @wiseprints206. This is my Winchester revolver! When you pull the lever, the revolver spins around. It's fully 3D printed with no extra parts needed. As of February 23rd, I've added step-by-step assembly photos for the tricky parts in this build. These should help guide you through how everything fits together. Note that the front and back ratchets holding the cylinder in place are mirrored, so their pieces aren't interchangeable. In the pictures, only two springs are shown inserted into the ratchets, but all four need to be in place. Before gluing anything down, I recommend doing a test fit on all the parts to make sure they line up smoothly. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask! I check my Thingiverse page regularly and will do my best to respond promptly. I've been holding back from sharing this model for a while because it's not finished yet. However, I'm unsure when I'll get back to working on it, so I figured I'd share it now. The only part left to complete is the trigger mechanism. Everything else works as expected – gears and ratchets are all functional. I wanted to create a model that could be fully 3D printed without any additional parts, making it accessible to anyone with a 3D printer. Unfortunately, I ran into trouble designing the trigger mechanism due to limited space constraints and the need for a click-activated design. When I come up with a suitable solution using only 3D printed components, I'll finish this project. Until then, have fun printing and building this model!
