Quick Picatinny Rail Mount for Winchester 94AE in 357 Magnum: A Custom Fit Solution. This custom rail mount is specifically designed for the AE version of the Winchester 94, which is chambered in 357 Magnum. It's essential to note that this design requires the AE version or a modified version with drilled and tapped screw holes above the chamber, as the mount relies on these specific holes for secure installation. The Picatinny Rail Mount consists of three distinct parts: 1. A sight plate that fits seamlessly into the dovetail originally designed for the buckhorn sight. 2. A mounting component that wraps around the barrel, providing a stable base for the rail. 3. A section of Picatinny rail that securely attaches to the top of the mount. For those who prefer a more straightforward printing process, I've included a two-piece version that combines the mount and rail into a single piece. However, this requires additional support during printing and extensive cleanup afterwards. As such, I highly recommend opting for the three-piece design, which is remarkably easy to print and assemble. **Installation Instructions:** 1. Carefully remove the buckhorn sight by gently drifting it to the right with a rubber hammer and punch. 2. Install two M3 threaded inserts into the sight plate using high-quality fasteners (available on eBay via this link). 3. Insert the sight plate into the dovetail that originally accommodated the buckhorn sight. 4. Place the mount on top, ensuring the sight plate fits snugly into the cutout. 5. Secure the rail in place by threading two M3 screws through the holes in the mount and into the sight plate, and then two M3.5 screws through the same holes and into the screw holes above the chamber (you can reuse the original screws provided with your gun).
