Winch Controller Bracket

<p>This is a bracket for relocating the winch control jack on a Jeep Wrangler YJ. It may fit CJs and TJs as well if the grill spacing is the same.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><h3>Category: Automotive Post-Printing</h3> <p><strong>Weatherproofing</strong></p> <p>I recommend spraying with enamel paint or at least a clear coat to protect from UV degradation.</p> <p><strong>Installation</strong></p> <p>Drill a hole for a 5/16" bolt 4" across from the passenger side radiator bolt, and 3/4" forward from the back of the grill frame.</p> <p>Install a 5/16" jam nut into the back of the bracket. The nut bore is purposely undersized, so you will need to heat up the nut with a soldering iron or lighter and let it melt into place.</p> <p>Install the bracket into the jeep grill, making sure the hole in the bracket lines up with the hole you drilled. The bracket is designed with a snug fit, and should stay in place on its own until the bolt is installed.</p>
